Love this! I think that staggered synth just works so well. It's a very 80's sounding synth, which I love.
I would also second this as a perfect "Desert Level" theme in a videogame.

I hesitated on clicking this. Thought I was going to be in for a 10+ minute mind numbing, self-indulgent ambient piece.

If you had a more intricate bassline in what I'll call "the second part", it would be overly Floydy. ;)
